Project 11 Shadow walk

The main idea of the project is to utilise the light and shadow hich form naturally the space.

Such as the Chapel at Ronchamp by Le Corbusier using the principle of 'form follow function'.

By respecting the situation of the site, the building blend into the slopy site and try to invite natural element into the organic building.The openings at the elevation of the chapel are deliberately carved in a depth shape to let the light into the building but it won't be exposed to the direct sunlight.

Therefore, the inner of the building is shaped with naturally light and shadow according to the sun path and weather.
